Join REGROUP: Be Part of the Mission

Since 2013, VETMotorsports has empowered over 200 Active Duty, Guard, Reserve, Gold Star families, and veterans with service-connected injuries through more than 100 immersive motorsports events across North America.

Our program places veterans directly within high-performance motorsports teams, providing real, hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Participants don’t just observe—they engage. They lead, collaborate, and contribute to mission-driven goals that mirror the intensity, teamwork, and purpose they experienced in uniform.

This isn't just about racing—it's about reconnection. By shifting the focus from disability to ability, from the past to the future, VETMotorsports fosters resilience in mind and body, promotes empowerment, and strengthens mental health. Leadership and peer mentorship opportunities enhance the experience, while community involvement helps bridge the gap between civilians and service members.

As a volunteer, you’ll be part of a powerful movement—one that uses passion, adrenaline, and purpose to fuel healing and growth.

Now Recruiting: Peer Leadership Volunteers

VETMotorsports is actively seeking dedicated and qualified volunteers to serve in Peer Leadership roles, working directly under the guidance of our Regional Operations Officers. This vital role blends leadership with hands-on action, helping execute high-impact events that support and empower our veteran participants.

What You'll Do:

As a Peer Leader, you’ll assist with the full scope of event operations—including setup and breakdown of equipment, displays, tables, and other event support materials. This is an active role that may involve lifting to 25 pounds and requires physical readiness, including standard visual, auditory, and communication abilities.

Work Environment:

Most events take place outdoors in motorsports environments. Volunteers must be comfortable working in dynamic, sometimes loud settings (hearing protection may be required at times). Evening and weekend availability is essential, as events typically occur outside of standard business hours. You’ll use general event and office equipment and will often represent VETMotorsports to the public.

Who You'll Work With:

You’ll be interacting with a wide range of individuals—veterans, event staff, sanctioning body personnel, fellow volunteers, and the public. Peer Leaders must demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. You are the face of VETMotorsports at our events—your attitude and actions matter.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Prior event experience is a plus

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to follow detailed event schedules and directions

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

  • Comfortable using basic tools and equipment

  • Reliable, punctual, and customer service-oriented

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing needs

  • Committed to supporting the safety and well-being of veterans and their guests

Why It Matters:

This role isn’t just about logistics—it’s about leadership, connection, and impact. Your presence helps create a supportive, high-energy environment where veterans can thrive, reconnect, and heal. If you’re ready to lead with purpose and be part of something bigger, we’d love to have you on the team.
